Parker changed
the game for our team! His work and the results that he drove will serve as the
foundation for the future success of our development projects.
Parker will raise his hand to take on a difficult problem (emphasis on *difficult*),
get to the source of it, propose a solution, and then *measure and report* the
progress in a meaningful and actionable way. Consider this in the context of a
large, global engineering organization with a team of heavily matrixed
cross-functional stakeholders (along with many other day-to-day challenges) and it's
easy for me to recognize that what Parker has accomplished is nothing short of
amazing.
Parker is someone you want on your team. I would welcome the opportunity to work
with Parker again.

I had the
privilege of working with Parker closely on many occasions. He is one of few
individuals who was always willing to contribute consistently throughout various
cross-function activities. Parker demonstrated a high level of communication (some
would call it overcommunication) and it was always welcomed. Parker consistently set
the bar high in collecting his team's metrics and analysis to accurately reflect
business perception versus business reality. Parker not only ensured quality
assurance, he also managed to expedite our release cadence and technical writing
department. Parker brings well rounded technical leadership to any
organization.

Parker has had
a profound effect on Quality Assurance at Kaseya, bringing the critically important
backbone required of a great QA organization. Parker is detail oriented, data
driven, and strongly principled. His knowledge of QA practice in both manual and
automated environments is outstanding. He has a strong eye for efficiency and
optimization, and did a wonderful job streamlining quality efforts of multiple
products to bring the required effort in line with available resources, and
producing much more reliable results. Most importantly, Parker knows how to build
quality environments that yield high quality, customer friendly software.

I had the
pleasure of managing Parker as well as working alongside him. Parker is a rare QA
manager that has a strong computer science background that helps him excel in the
new age of Software QA.
Parker really knows how to build a well oiled QA machine from the ground up, this
includes the hiring of the team, building the automation strategy, creating the test
methodologies and communicating needs and statuses to the executive team.
Parker will ask the hard questions and raise important topics regarding the quality
of a version, this is exactly what you want from your QA manager, someone that has
the integrity and accountability to stop a release when it is truly needed.
I would definitely love to work with Parker again!

Parker is an
excellent hands-on leader and manager with great expertise in all aspects of
software quality. We have been working together for almost 3 years and I have seen
him solving very difficult problems with strong time constraints. Parker makes
decisions based on data. His vision, skills and process improvements of QA are
outstanding while providing very detailed reporting of all stages of QA operations.
He is also very focused on automation to improve test coverage in all areas of
software products. His managerial skills are excellent. Overall, I strongly
recommend Parker.
-
Parker is
exceptionally capable of managing multiple teams including the team members from
different time zones. I reported to him directly for an year and have learned more
about the QA process and tools under his guidance than what I learned in my previous
3 years combined, which helped me move up in levels faster. His core strengths
include planning, documentation, accountability and patience. He took up a major
project named VSA, which had a lot of quality issues and not only wrote a
comprehensive documentation of things that were done wrong but included solutions,
followed up with development and product to get things done right. Usually, leading
and managing grads and/or whole new team members require the patience of a saint and
sure Parker has that innate capability. Wish I had the opportunity to work with him
initially in my career, but better late than never.
I'm sure Parker's extraordinary abilities will be a huge add on to the success of
whatever project he takes on. He is a go getter.

Parker is a
solid team player and a major innovator and contributor. Let me tell you why.
Our team was just getting off the ground with using Jira and Scrum. Our QA processes
were next to non-existent at this point. Parker comes to me and asks if I had looked
at Jira and Zephyr? My response was that I had briefly and that I didn't think it
was what we were looking for. He didn't agree and promptly made his case and
provided supporting training materials. He was right. And it changed everything.
Parker was responsible for the rollout of the QA Jira/Zephyr testing process and
developed the presentation to Senior Management and training materials for our
entire organization. Spearheaded is a good word here.
This is a great example of Parker's initiative making a serious positive impact on
all the Development and QA teams in the company.
